With her exquisite voice tone and soulful delivery Debbie brings a 70s R&B flavour to a 50s musical style. She and I were relatively green as jazzers when embarking on recording these tracks. The songs choices are hers, mostly old standards with lyrical sentiments from a bygone age. My renderings are modelled on the older arrangements.
